I suppose it keeps good time; I'm not too concerned about that. I really like the clean, simple design and the boldness of the entire package. Not too big, not too small. Also, I don't like metal bands, only leather. The leather on this band is quite nice in a rugged way. I will purchase additional Citizen EcoDrive watches. It is a basic eco-drive in operation with a calendar function but no additional functions other than the time. The face is medium black and looks clean/uncluttered. The case is medium in size (43 mm including the crown) with silvertone reference marks except the 12 and 6 positions which are made of luminous material. At night only the hour, minute hands and the 12 and 6 positions glow, but you can still tell the time at night. What I think sets this watch apart is the titanium case which makes the watch very lightweight, plus it is tougher even than stainless steel. Also, the crystal is non-reflective sapphire and is virtually scratchproof. It's advertised as three times more scratch resistant than mineral crystal. The watch case is a combination of shiny titanium and lightly brushed titanium that gives the watch a satin like texture. It is an extremely good looking watch. The watch is exceptionally light, especially with the leather strap provided. The strap itself is quite light and appears to be of inexpensive materials and construction. I imagine I'll replace the band with a premium strap soon, since I suspect that with everyday wear the band will go from "broken in" to "broken down" quite quickly. The dial features excellent readability and the lume is on a par with other non-tritium watches. My example, at least, is an accuracy champ. It appears that it will be accurate to within a few seconds a year. The sapphire crystal arrived unblemished and I expect it to remain that way during my non-combative use. A TIP: This model and its companion-piece chronograph are in ample supply in the United States. Shop these items extensively for deep discounts.
